The school holidays are over and despite the miserable weather we have made the most of the school break. We have had some lovely days out to Crealy Park, Blue Anchor beach, Fyne Court Woodlands and The Donkey Sanctuary. We’ve also enjoyed lots of picnics in the park and walks to feed the ducks at the canal.
Our focus topics this month were Summer Weather (wet wet wet) and All About Me!! Our focus colours were green and yellow and we explored the number 8.
We practiced two new songs this month too, The Sun Has Got His Hat On and Head Shoulders Knees And Toes.
At the start of the summer holidays I brought two new V-Tech cameras (indestructible), these come with a computer program which allows children to play with the images taken. We have all had great fun with them, I am addicted.
Throughout the holidays my Ebay obsession has equip us with lots of new and exciting toys, especially our new wooden castle complete with knights on horse back, dragons and princesses something for everyone.
September heralds a new start with some children leaving us to go to school or pre-school but also some new children joining us as they start Ruishton school or Woodlands pre-school.
September looks really busy and I always think this is the start of the Christmas countdown.
