Another busy month in June and with the warm weather staying with us we have had the paddling pool out and the sprinkler on. Our focus colours this month were blue and purple and the number 6.
We made some lovely photo cubes for our daddies for fathers day using marbles to paint them. We celebrated the beginning of the world cup (and the end) by taking our huge football to the park. We went to Blackbrook Leisure Centre and had a play on the tennis court to mark the start of Wimbledon.
Our special topic this month was transport and we have been very busy, we rode the bus into town which was very exciting because we got to sit at the front, we were lucky enough to sit on the tractors at Proctors Farm and we did a traffic survey at the park counting all the cars and vans that drove past.
This month we have planted lettuce seeds and they are growing really well. Our sunflowers are growing really tall and at the moment Grace’s is the tallest. We have lots of flowers on our strawberry plants and some long shoots on the pumpkins.
