Q: Are you registered with OFSTED?
A: Yes. I first registered with OFSTED in February 2005 and my OFSTED registration number is EY301261. My last OFSTED inspection was in August 2009 and the report is available here.

Q: Who will you take?
A: I care for children from 8 weeks old and upwards. My Ofsted registration limits the number of children I care for as follows
Under one year = 1 child
Pre School = 3 children (the baby would be included in this number)
Under Eight years = 6 children (all pre school children are included in this number)
Ofsted does not limit the number of children over eight years that a childminder may care for however it must not have an adverse affect on the younger children cared for, for this reason I limit the number of children in my care to a maximum of ten in total.

Q: When will you work?
A: I work Monday – Friday from 7am – 6.30pm
I am open throughout the year (apart from approximately 4 weeks holiday and bank holidays.)

Q: How much do you charge and what is included in the fees?
A: I charge £3.50 per hour per child. A discount is applicable when siblings are minded together. All snacks and drinks are included for children in my care. mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. Meals can be provided at a minimal cost, breakfast, lunch and an evening meal. Outings and day trips are also included. All play materials cooking ingredients and art materials are included. Basically anything which will add to a child’s experience.

Q: Do you accept the government “over threes” vouchers?
A: Unfortunately I am not registered to accept these. However, I do accept some employer funded vouchers, also job centre payments and county council vouchers.

Q: Will you collect my child from school/pre-school?
A: Yes. I can collect from Ruishton School, Woodlands Pre-school and Bushy Cross Nursery. For collections from other schools, nurseries and pre-schools please ask.

Q: Do you hold accident insurance?
A: I carry public liability insurance, business use car insurance and business use home and contents cover. Policy documents are available for parents to check.
